This project aims to establish a network of Local Lighthouses of Knowledge and Innovation. These lighthouses will function as open, integrated development systems in rural areas, bridging the gap between the academic community and businesses (both agricultural and non-agricultural). Their operation is based on a structured collaboration among the Development Agencies in the Kilkis, Chalkidiki, Serres, and Thessaloniki regions.
Helenos Consulting was responsible for primary and secondary research, developing an Innovation Guide, and providing training/education for the executives of the Lighthouses of Knowledge and Innovation (B2). These lighthouses were established at the headquarters of each participating Local Development Company.
